In CREDO ROADS system, variations of longitudinal profile can be created either by optimization (automated calculation of formation line which is based on the method of dynamic programming) or by interactive construction of straight lines, circles, parables and splines.
The optimization method allows you to find the best solution with maximum level of design process automation. This method is especially in demand under the conditions of road repair.
Availability of templates and styles in CREDO ROADS significantly reduces the time needed for designing roadways on wetland and swampland areas, slopes and other challenging reliefs.
Calculation of slope stability is carried out in SLOPE program.
The functionality of CREDO ROADS system provides all the tried and tested technologies for road reconditioning. These are strengthening the existing surface with premilling and shaping course, creating widenings in trenches or with verge cutting and adjusting the width of project surface by width of the original one with saving the existing verges and slopes.
The process of creating a longitudinal profile at road reconditioning site is almost wholly automated and the result guarantees cost minimization for maintaining road reconditioning.
The calculation is performed in CREDO SETTLEMENT application. Values of fill settlement are calculated in accordance with the Industry Building Code 26-90 “Instruction for the design and construction of motor ways of Western Siberia oil and gas fields”
You can calculate earth quantities considering the fill settlement for specified site on horizontal plane. As a result of calculation, surfaces with the values of the fill settlement and peat thickness are created.
Grid of volumes with data on fill settlement allows generating the earth mass plan. In addition to the standard values, the grid nodes display the values of peat depth and fill settlement as well as the summary table contains data on the volume of settlement.
On completion of calculations you can create the report for volume of the settlement and excavation on a square grid considering the fill settlement.
In profile window at given cross-sections, mound bottom design alernates are set, peat thickness and fill settlement are calculated. “Full pit reclamation”, “partial pit reclamation” and “floating settlement” constructions are displayed on project cross sections.
On completion of calculations you can create reports for volume of peat reclamation and fill settlement.
Automated pavement design in new construction and reinforcement of the existing road pavements are carried out in CREDO RADON RU for the Russian Federation and CREDO RADON BY for the Republic of Belarus.
Junctions and at-grade intersections can be automatically created in CREDO RAMPS application. Among its main features are horizontal and vertical levelling of bend areas, smooth transition of verges and slopes of converging roads and calculating the volume of grading work.
The process of creating secondary roads in junctions or intersections is almost completely automated.
The program will automatically rebuild the road model after any edit of its horizontal geometry, moving to another station or completely removing the ramp.

Digital model of the road project can be created in automated mode with CREDO ROADS system. Additionally, by using various methods of horizontal and vertical levelling design you can obtain a digital project model not only for the road but also for surrounding territories and service objects.
A road project can be assessed at any stage of its design starting from baseline data by determining main characteristics of the road or viewing a 3D image. In order to do it, professionals use VISUALIZATION and ROAD ASSESSMENT applications.
In VISUALIZATION application you can create realistic images using 3D objects and textures. At the same time, visual and quantitative evaluation of source and project surfaces is carried out.
Project assessment on specific parameters or collection of data is carried out in ROAD ASSESSMENT application.
The following tasks of road facilities construction are solved using such products as CREDO ROADS, CREDO DISCLOCATION and ZNAK:
layout of road signs, horizontal markings and other elements of road furnishing;

Any information that is required for implementation of a project created in CREDO software package is generated in the form of ranging, address and volumetric reports and drawings of various types.
